Where to go out in Phi Phi island?
Phi Phi island is famous for its lively party scene, amazing beach bars and awesome fire show. The island is the perfect combination of stunning beaches and crystal clear water during the day and fantastic nightlife during the night. There are many cool bars and places in the town to enjoy a couple of cold beers or cocktail and then, of course, the famous beach party, which takes place in Loh Dalum Bay.

The party central of Koh Phi Phi is without any doubt the beach in Loh Dalum Bay. During the day a nice spot for some kayaking and relaxing, but at night the biggest fire show madness on the island.
There is no entry fee to pay to enjoy the show, but it is polite to buy at least a beer in the bar and leave some tips for the fire boys. Apart from the fire show, you can enjoy fun games like skipping rope, limbo, musical chairs and other silly (but very amusing) shenanigans. The beach is all about whiskey buckets, free shots, fluorescent paint, loud music and a lot of fun. The bars are all next to each other so you can mingle with the crowd and dance your night away in the sand.
CARLITO’S BAR PHI PHI & HIPPIE’S BAR
Banana Rooftop Bar
Banana Bar is Phi Phi’s most famous rooftop bar and it is one of the popular hangouts for the local dive community. On the ground floor is restaurant Banana Sombrero which serves Mexican and Thai food. There is also a game area with table football, pool table and other board games.
On the first floor is a rooftop bar which screens movies on a projector every evening from 7 pm. Traditionally, the movie “The Beach” with Leonardo Dicaprio, which made Phi Phi famous, is on every Monday.

Kong Siam: live music bar
Kong Siam is a small bar in the centre of Koh Phi Phi and place you can enjoy some good live music. The singer and band sing all kinds of covers from pop to rock from different decades. You can even make a song request or have a go at singing. As it is a very small bar it gets crowded easily so grab your seat early.
Reggae Bar Phi Phi
Reggae Bar is the only Thai boxing stadium and bar in Phi Phi island, where you can watch Muay Thai matches. The entry is free as long as you buy drink or food. The matches are mostly exhibitions but tourists can also sign up to fight and win free whiskey bucket. The drinks are more on an expensive side here, which is only fair, as the entry is free.
Dojo Bar
Dojo Bar is located in the heart of Phi Phi island and has been for years a favorite lounge and hang out for local expats and anyone who enjoys good house music. A perfect place to enjoy a cold beer, live DJs and sports matches. Dojo Bar is an attractive place to knock back a few. Take in some sports on large-screen TV or simply people-watch at this open-sided bar.
Stockholm Syndrome
Opposite of Dojo bar is another open space bar with beer pong tables and a lively atmosphere. Stockholm Syndrome is a great place to have fun at night in Phi Phi. Featuring two floors, most of the action happens on the ground level, where are beer pong tables, pool tables and a small dance floor.
Relax Bar
Relax bar is home of the Phi Phi Pirate crew and a great place to make a pit stop on your way to the beach party. Relax bar recently reopened its doors and it is a perfect place to enjoy some board games and people watch. The interior of the bar is traditional Thai style, with huge wooden tables and benches.
Tree House
The Tree House bar is another cool roof top bar with chilled sitting area upstairs, good music and pool table. You can hang around and get comfy on the cushions or mingle around the bar area.
Sunflower Bar
Sunflower Bar is located in the south corner of Loh Dalum Bay. This bar and restaurant is a chilled place to spend a lazy afternoon, laying in the hammock, sipping on a drink and watching the sun go down.
The Only Bar
The Only Bar is a great place if you looking for a relaxed atmosphere and sunset cocktails. The Only Bar is situated at the end of the Loh Dalum Bay and it is for sure one of the best spots in Koh Phi Phi to enjoy sunsets. There is also a restaurant so you can enjoy the evening with some good food and drinks.
Rolling Stoned Bar
Tucked at the back of one of the Phi Phi’s alleyways is one of the oldest bars on the island, the Rolling Stoned bar. The bar is a chilled place for a couple of beers a game of pool and a good chat while listening to rock and indie music.
