WHY RENTING A PRIVATE BOAT?
- You have the freedom to choose the program of your tour, choose the time of your departure and enjoy the locations as you go. If you love somewhere you can stay longer or if you are bored you can sail off to another beach or snorkeling spot.
- Avoid the tourist crowds in your own private long tail boat that can accommodate up to 12 people. We own different sizes of long tail boats to suit the size of your group. Start any time from 6am.
- In high season between November to April the island can get busy and captains are very often booked up.
Book easily with us online and your captain will be ready, waiting for you the time you choose. - Visit up to 8 famous spots around Phi Phi islands and experience the traditional long tail boat.
We run a private boat service from sunrise to sunset and also organize night swimming with bioluminescent plankton, so you can start any time between 6am till 8pm.
For the complete tour of the islands, we recommend 7 hours, but you can also choose 6 hours or 8 hours, depending on how much time you’d like to spend snorkeling and relaxing on beaches.
For half day trip around Phi Phi Lay with a visit to Maya Bay, we recommend 4 hours.

HOW DO WE MAKE SURE WE HAVE A GOOD CAPTAIN?
Phi Phi Island is a highly popular destination, and experienced captains with excellent customer feedback are hired by agencies and tour operators like us. You won’t find them walking down the street, as they already have customer bookings scheduled in advance.
We advise against hiring a captain directly on the beach and trying to negotiate prices. All captains follow fixed pricing, and an underpaid captain is likely to be dissatisfied, which could negatively impact your trip.
At our agency, all captains are professional, well-compensated, and highly experienced to ensure you have the best possible experience here on Phi Phi Island. While they can communicate in basic English, our customer service team is always available online to assist with any issues during your trip.
Please note: This is a boat rental service, and the captain’s role is to drive the boat, not to act as a tour guide.
Our captains are familiar with the best routes and understand the tides and timing, so you don’t need to guide them. While they can answer some basic questions, their primary focus is on safely operating the boat. If you require a private guide, please contact us in advance so we can check availability for your selected date. Prices for a private guide start at 2,000 THB.
WHERE DOES THE TOUR START?
Meeting point is in our main office Visa Travel, close to the main pier on Phi Phi Don (you will receive detailed map and instruction where to find us, with your booking confirmation).
We also arrange a free pick up from hotels located on Long Beach (if tides and weather allow it).
If your hotel is not in the main part of the island, please let us know, there will be an extra charge for pick up or you can organize a taxi boat from your hotel yourself. If you are not sure where your hotel is located, please send us a message HERE.

ARE THERE ANY EXTRA FEES TO PAY?
Yes, if you wish to visit Maya Bay or Bamboo Island (national park). The entry for one day is 400THB per person and 200THB for a child, infants can enter for free. Please, do not forget to bring cash with you, if you wish to visit the national park area.
We include water, and snorkeling equipment (mask&snorkel). You can bring some snacks, drinks or food with you, all restaurants and the local market can make a packed lunch for you. There are sandwiches to sell at 7/11 if you are starting early.
All you need to do is bring a towel, some food and snacks for the day and enjoy a day of exploring the paradise!
WHAT HAPPENS IF THE WEATHER IS NOT GOOD?
In case of rain before your trip or at the time of the departure, you can cancel and get a full refund, or change for another day (if available). Once you start your trip, we can not provide any refund or partial refund, or change.
Please note that this is a regular local long-tail boat rental (there are no pillows and special VIP sitting at the front of the boat). WE CAN NOT CONTROL THE WEATHER and the MOTHER NATURE. All tour programs and itinerary orders can be changed depending on the weather, wind and tide. All our itineraries and programs are only suggestions and ideas. However, the captain has to check during the day if possible to follow. Your SAFETY is our main priority, and if waves are too big there might be a change of program. From May to November there is an official monsoon season in the south of Thailand. In case of rain before your trip or at the time of the departure, you can cancel and get a full refund, or change for another day (if available). Once you start your trip, we can not provide any refund or partial refund, or change. We can not predict the weather and it can change suddenly. If you think bad weather would ruin your trip, please reconsider booking a trip with us.
Thailand has a tropical climate that can not be predicted. We can not provide any compensation for rainy weather or change in locations. During monsoon season most days, the boat trip does not visit the east side of Phi Phi Don (Wang Long Bay and Nui Bay). On some windy days, we can not get to Bamboo Island as the island is a bit further from the main island. We do not offer a refund if the boat can not get to Bamboo Island or other locations during the trip due to strong wind. Another aspect that may affect your trip is the tide. During very low tide, boats can not get to the lagoon, and during high tide there is no beach in Monkey Beach. Please keep all this in mind when making reservations with us.
WE CAN NOT CONTROL THE NATURE. We can not affect if there will be any monkeys on Monkey Beach, Sharks, or jellyfish in the sea. We live on a beautiful island surrounded by beautiful nature which is wild and unpredictable. On some days we see monkeys, small sharks, turtles, or even dolphins. Some days we don’t see any monkeys, the visibility underwater is not good, and snorkeling is not so great. This is nature and we can not predict, or compensate for any lack of wild animals or nature phenomena. Some days we see a lot of plankton, and some days none, it can not be predicted.
Children below 3 years are free of charge. Children 10 years and older are full price.
REFUND POLICY:
Cancellations Made in Advance:
• 100% Refund: For cancellations made more than 1 month before the scheduled trip date.
• 50% Refund: For cancellations made between 48 hours and 1 month before the scheduled trip date.
Cancellations Made Less Than 48 Hours Before the Trip or No-Show:
• No refund will be provided for cancellations made less than 48 hours before the trip or for no-shows.
Cancellations Due to Weather:
• In the unlikely event that we must cancel your trip due to bad weather, we will offer you the option to reschedule or provide a full refund. Once you start your trip we can’t provide any refund
Last-Minute Illness or Inability to Attend:
• Unfortunately, if you fall sick last minute and are unable to attend, we cannot provide refunds or rescheduling, as all services for the day are pre-booked and paid for.
• If you wish to reschedule for another day, a new reservation and full payment will be required.
