Phi Phi Don, the only inhabited island in the archipelago, is small—just 8 km long and 3.5 km wide. The main village area is fully walkable, and you can cross from one side to the other in just 15 minutes. There are no roads, just walking paths, and the only way to reach more remote beaches is by taxi boat.

The only motorbikes on the island are used by the police, the hospital, and the rubbish collectors. That’s it.

9. PHI PHI ISLAND IS EASILY ACCESSIBLE ALL YEAR ROUND
